At the time of writing, I really really don't know how I would do this at all, but I would indeed like to add an extensions system at some point so CharmBoard could maybe have extensibility on par with ABXD or even phpBB. There's features I personally would like for the HYPERBOREALZONE forum that would be inappropriate to have be a part of the software by default (like something akin to AcmlmBoard's RPG) or that are just plain inapplicable to every potential install of CharmBoard there could be (language-specific extensions, like the pronouns one I mentioned in issue #3).
